1. Preparation for Free Hugs!

At 28 Jan 2008,

We left our hotel because we should get a permission and determine suitable time and space for the last free hugs. Our destination was Jawaharlal Nehru University(JNU) to meet an Indian guy, Summer whom Dr. Lenin introduced, because we heard that Summer is interested in our activities. As we were together with Frank who studied at JNU for a while, we just followed him passing Connaught Place and took a bus towarding JNU. Expecting time is about 1 hour, and the bus fare is 10Rs. per a person. (Delhi is really too big!!!)

After we arrived at JNU and met Summer, we had a discussion about our activities for short time. (Picture: Summer) Well, Though I already felt while callling with Summer, it was really hard to understand of his English for his too strong accent as like most Indian people who speaks English fluently. I had to give up 50% of his speech to understand. It was lucky to be with Frank!

Anyway, by following Summer's introduction and helps, we visited dean office and dean of students office in JNU and got a permission of doing free hugs in JNU.

On the way, we met Catherine, a friend of Frank and an instructor of German in JNU. And by referring to Catherine's advice, we contacted a student who studies Korean, and we determine a suitable place for doing free hugs. We made an appointment with Summer to meet tomorrow until 12:00 PM at JNU, and we moved to a proposed place of free hugs.

The proposed place for doing the second free hugs was a shopping area, and this area was suggested by Frank who already knew Delhi well. We considered this area as like that people earning somewhat good income visit and the average price is similar with Korea. (picture: the shopping area we choose)

After we looked over the area and imagined a rough composition of Free Hugs Zone, while we cannot overcome a hunger, we went to Yo! China! for simple dinner. We were satisfied with the area, good to make Free Hugs Zone.

The next day was the last free hugs.
